A lot of people say God is perfect. I don’t think he is perfect, and I mean no disrespect by that. We are made in his image, and we are imperfect, the world is imperfect. So if we are made in his image, God must be a little imperfect himself.
I still believe God is all and all is God. Love is in him. But think about it. Your wife or husband, are they perfect? But yet you love them the same. With God its the same, its a relationship. With him, and his son, Christ. We all have mothers and father’s and brothers… But God is our father, Jesus is his son, and we are his adopted children… All of us.
I used to be very skeptical about the Christian religion. When I was depressed I looked at everything as a negativity, and was sort of self absorbed in myself.
But when I met a girl I consider to be one of my best girlfriends, she showed me how belief in Christ can be realistic and be a positive influence in your life.
Then I met a man, my first serious relationship. He showed me through abuse how hard it can be knowing finally the hard truth of what he was doing, and then a realized what kind if person I was becoming- someone who proclaimed open mind ness, yet hated all of the world for all the bad things. I was very hateful, and it took time to realize I didn’t want to be that person anymore. I didn’t want to associate with those people because I saw how hurtful and hateful they had become even if they didn’t realize it themselves.
Then I met my current fiance. He showed me more how loving a Christian family can be. Then I became touched and inspired by Christ.
Most everyone in this world values material objects more than people sometimes and I think sometimes people get lost in their greed. They think that having things will get them happiness…. When it will not.
They think if they have the next new thing…it’s worth leaving a friend simply because they don’t posses it as well.
Having power and money and all of the emotionless sex in the world will not fill that void only three things can. Jesus, family, and friends. That’s why in more cases poor people with their simple lives, even if they complain, are happier.
Let me leave you now with a quote.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but loose his own soul?”
Pets are fun to own, and good to have around, this is known. But it is also known that interacting with puppies or kittens, whichever you prefer, can lower stress. That’s just science. It is also known that pets are very loyal.
Spiritually, I believe that pets are a godsend. They aren’t people, but they are spiritually in tune. They understand you better than most human beings. Whenever you get your heart broken, they don’t have to say a word to make you feel better, they are just there, warming you heart, slowly mending it.
Contrary to popular belief, the devil is not a red man with horns. The devil is in every evil thing. You can see him in the eyes of a dictator, you can feel him he is the essence of a rapist, a abuser.
Despite what form the devil comes in, we must resit his charms. For example, if a child grows up in a corrupt household where his father drinks and hits his kids, he must follow Christ and resist the devil by not following in his father’s footsteps, even though statistics state that it is very likely.
Prayer is one of the most important things in a spiritual woman’s life. No matter if your catholic or not, prayer is not only to use in your moments of desperation, it serves as a constant channel between you and your deity of choice. Its to ask for forgiveness for all the mistakes, to build that relationship with your savior.
Prayer can give you closure in facing death, mourning a loss, even in the event of a broken heart.
Praise Jesus, and find salvation.
Families fall apart all the time. People forget how important structure is to a child. Family in Gods eyes is a mother and a father and a child. That’s what holy is. Holy is not giving up on your spouse when you have an issue. Jesus really would want you to work it out, that’s what I believe.
Family is the core of a child’s life. Its where they know and learn morality. Always keep close with family. They are your rock, and next to Christ, your shelter, no matter where you go.
I see all these mothers when I go out in town. Mothers who don’t know the joy they have in their life. These mothers are leading selfish lives, thinking only of themselves, and their romances. They go to their jobs, living day by day, thinking of their child only as a burden, and not as a joy.
If they took the example of Mary, the holy mother of our savior Jesus Christ, they could understand how to look at their child in a new light.
I have not yet had a child, but I hope to soon. I will treat it with the love it deserves. So it would grow up with the knowledge that it is loved.
Loss is something that occurs in all of our lives. It may happen a lot, or rarely. Nevertheless, it impacts our lives. Dealing with it can be hard.
I lost my grandmother around valentines day. Then later that same year I got sick and wheelchair bound, and at the end of the year my dad had open heart surgery. But I realize now that Jesus can help you through all things, and if you trust in him, you will know that everything happens for a reason: maybe to help you grow as a person, or to realize a certain truth about yourself.
That horrible year is past me. If you are suffering from loss now, just trust in Jesus, and let him guide you through it.
I think its nighttime when I feel closest to Christ. Its a time between daylight and when the sun sets that I trust my soul with him. For I know when I sleep he will be watching over me.
I imagine that when my eyes finally close and I try to let go of the demands of the day, that Jesus would lean in and give me a fatherly kiss on my forehead and I would have pleasant dreams.
And whenever I wake I know he was watching over me because he’s blessed me with a new day.
